The next episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 will reveal why Matt's (Zach Roerig) conflict with Enzo (Michael Malarkey) intensifies. The synopsis for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 9 titled "I Alone" teased that Matt will be taking matters into his own hands because Enzo's actions have crossed the line.

In episode 7, Matt found out that the person responsible for Tripp's (Colin Ferguson) death is Enzo. The Augustine vampire turned Tripp into a vampire so he died in Matt's arms when he crossed the Mystic Falls border.

TVD writer Brian Young teased that Enzo will be plotting something when the character returns in episode 9 of the CW TV series. "Uh oh. A Wet Paint report suggests the reason why the feud between Enzo and Matt escalates in episode 9 has something to do with Sarah Salvatore (Gabrielle Walsh). In the released promo video, Matt does not look pleased to see Enzo hanging out with Sarah while Stefan (Paul Wesley) expresses his distaste for cleaning up Enzo's mess.

"I'd really rather not clean up two corpses today," Stefan tells Enzo. Aside from Enzo's scheming in the upcoming episode, another focus will be on bringing Bonnie (Kat Graham) back home.

The released promo video showed Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) teaming up with fierce determination to rescue their friend who is still stuck in 1994 but now in Portland, Oregon with no magic, car and all alone because Kai (Chris Wood) tricked the witch and left her there. "Let's go get her," Damon declares.

Fortunately, Bonnie found a way to connect with her friends which strengthens her hope once more. "I can't believe I'm hearing your voices right now," Bonnie tells Damon and Elena over a payphone. Elena assures her best friend that she is coming back home to them. Watch the promo video below.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 9 titled "I Alone" is scheduled to air on Thursday night, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
