A recently released promo video for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 teased the upcoming scenes in the second half episodes. The scenes include Elena's (Nina Dobrev) life in danger because of Kai (Chris Wood), Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) leaving Mystic Falls, the "Steroline" relationship and the "Delena" kiss.

The promo video begins with Elena telling Damon (Ian Somerhalder) that they cannot just pick up where they left off. A scene in the video teased that a Parker vs. Gilbert family war will take place because of the Gemini Coven twin merge ceremony and what Kai (Chris Woods) plans to do with Elena.

Jo (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe), who has Alaric (Matt Davis) on her side, declares that no one is going to kill her twin brother but Jeremy responds that they are not going to let Kai kill his sister. The next scene teased on the Stefan-Caroline or "Steroline" relationship.

Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) wants Stefan (Paul Wesley) to promise her that he will be there for her daughter, Caroline (Candice Accola). "When I'm gone, Caroline's gonna need you," Sheriff Forbes stated.

As for TVD cast member Steven R. McQueen's exit as a series regular, the promo video teased the reason why Jeremy Gilbert is leaving Mystic Falls. Elena declared that her younger brother deserves to live a normal life because Enzo (Michael Malarkey) tried to kill him.

"Time to get the hell out of here," Alaric tells Jeremy. Then, the promo video ends with the Damon-Elena or "Delena" kiss. Watch "The Vampire Diaries 6x11 NEW Promo - Woke Up With a Monster [HD]" video trailer below.
