Upper Middle Bogan actress Michala Banas has recently announced her separation from her husband Kade Greenland. The pair have decided to part ways after 11 months of marriage.

In a statement released by the actress herself, it was announced that Banas and Greenland are getting divorced. "It is with sadness that I announce that Kade and I have separated," told the actress in an officially released statement. The reason for the split is still unknown.

Banas is a popular actress who has won hearts by appearing in famous TV shows like 'Winners & Losers', 'Nowhere Boys' and 'McLeod's Daughters'. The pair was speculated to be experiencing a rough patch as they have not been spotted together lately. The actress was even seen without her wedding ring a couple of times, further fueled the divorce rumours, as told by Daily Telegraph.

The couple started dating two years ago and tied the knot this year in January. The 35-year-old actress and her 28-year-old boyfriend of about 18 months have exchanged their vows in a high profile wedding at Ripponlea Estate in Melbourne, Victoria. It was a vintage-style wedding, where the bride glowed with happiness wearing stunning strapless 1950's-style white gown, created by Melbourne bridal designer Angelea Marcuccio.

Banas is a New Zealand born television actress and singer, who is now living in Australia. Just after the wedding, the actress declared that they are really good at marriage and gushed at how excellent her husband Greenland had been to her.

Banas is quite a popular face in the hit series 'Upper Middle Bogan', which features a dysfunctional family. The comedy series is currently in its second season. The second season, which started in October, saw smashing ratings that even managed to beat Seven Network's 'Beauty and the Geek' and Network Ten's American drama 'Madam Secretary'.
