Just as his “need for speed” has come out in recent news that could have caused Ryan Dunn’s death, the bar that the Jackass star visited shortly before mishap also came into picture.

Before Dunn’s Porsche burst into flames after striking a tree, he was last seen “hopping and skipping” at a bar called Barnaby’s of America.

A photo of Dunn with his friend and a third person was posted by the Jackass star on Twitter (but which was now taken down by the social networking site).

Questions have been raised if the Barnaby’s bar should be investigated over Dunn’s untimely and tragic death. MTV News noted the bar had a prominent indoor sign hanging above the bar that said: If you appear to be intoxicated, we cannot serve you any alcohol."

And this written rule the bar had upheld by bar employees serving Dunn, attested by its manager, Frank Herron.

Herron described in an interview with AP how Dunn had appeared like before bar employees served him served two beers and six shots while he was hanging out at Barnaby’s for four hours.

"He spoke clearly. He walked clearly. He came in hop, skip, jumping. He left hop, skip, jumping," Herron said in an interview with the Associated Press.

He added: "If these results are true, I'm shocked at it. We were very confident that he had not had that much."

AP also said the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Enforcement has ruled out hurling charges against the bar.

Sgt. William La Torre of the Penn State Police Bureau announced that the agency had already conducted its investigation for possible violations by the establishment, reiterating that no charges will be slapped because Dunn did not “appear intoxicated” at the time he was having fun at the bar.

The police also examined the surveillance video from the bar which supported the statements and claims made by the bar employees.

"It's always a tragedy whenever there's a preventable crash that takes a life," La Torre said, according to AP.
