The South Korean Conglomerate Samsung has scheduled a press conference for June 12 in New York. The company is expected to unveil its Galaxy Tab S series of devices in the event.

Roughly 10 days left for the event to commence, Evleaks, a well-known and credible tipster has leaked images pertaining to the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 tablet. It is worth noting that, last week there was a leak on the 8.4 inches Tab S device, which is also expected to be launched in the same event.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 tablet is expected to feature a 10.5 inches AMOLED display and a whopping 2,560 × 1,600 pixels screen resolution. The tablet is also expected to house an 8 MP rear-facing camera and a 2.1 MP front-facing camera unit. In addition, the device will run on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat on top of Magazine UX UI. According to the leaked images, the tablet is maintaining the rounded corners from the predecessor Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the form factor will also remain the same.

The tablet will house a microUSB 2.0 port, but the microUSB 3.0 ports are missing from the side shots. It is worth noting that the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and the Galaxy Tab Pro tablets feature microUSB 3.0 ports, as spotted by GSMArena from the leaked images.

The other features of the upcoming Galaxy Tab S 10.5 include stereo speakers on the sides and a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 will be powered by a superior octa-core Exynos 5420 chipset with a 4x Cortex-A7 processor, clocked at 1.3 GHz and a 4x Cortex-A15 processor, clocked at 1.9 GHz. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 tablet is expected to cost approximately €565 (that roughly translates to US$769 and AU$827), says GSMArena. In addition, the tech Web site Neowin says, the tablet will feature a 3 GB of RAM.
