Without a doubt, the Nokia Lumia 1020 was a trend-setter by strapping a one-of-a-kind camera unit on the back of the handset. Needless to say, this handset was well received and hence, the successor of the Nokia Lumia 1020, in the form of the Microsoft Lumia 1030, has garnered staggering attention from the tech world. This time around, Microsoft is reportedly planning to house a whooping 50 MP PureView camera unit on the upcoming Lumia 1030 smartphone. In addition, a new concept video shows the metal-clad Lumia 1030 with grey-tiled Windows OS background.

Even though there are many concept videos of the upcoming Lumia handset, here is a concept from the famous designer Jonas Daehnert showcasing the handset from a 3D perspective. Based on the concept, the Lumia 1030 comes with a metal chassis, in addition to a single strip of plastic material, thoughtfully placed at the tail-end of the handset, for good signal reception. On the display front, the smartphone comes with a 2.5D curved screen, along with the pillow shape form seen in Nokia handsets released recently, according to Phone Arena.

With the rumoured 50 MP camera unit, it is only obvious that Microsoft opts for a killer processor unit under the hood to power the incredible device. Therefore, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and an impressive screen resolution are being expected out of the Microsoft Lumia 1030, says the same site.
