The United States has been on a quest to impose additional sanctions on Russia over the Ukrainian issue. While politicians defend the Ukraine Act as a means to help the region, many believe that the West is doing far more harm to itself than trying to help. The sanctions not only angers Russia but it also puts America at risk according to analysts.

The public has been very privy about bills passed in the United States. They also play a crucial role for stopping bad bills into realization. However, according to a report by Forbes, US politicians tried to rename a bad bill into "Ukraine Freedom Support Act of 2014" to see through it. The gist of the bill is to send aid to Ukraine, monetary and military, to help solve the crisis. Many also see this as a move against Russia as it imposes sanctions on the oil product imports and weapons exports of the company.

According to the Inquisitr, the Ukraine Act comprises of "lethal aid and $350 million in weapons." Russia has also called out on this threatening a response if Barrack Obama pushes through with it. The report also notes that Russia is calling the move "blackmail." Sending military aid to Ukraine may spark even more tensions. Many reports have warned the US Congress on its decisions saying that it has declared war on the country placing America in Danger.

Forbes' Doug Bandow claims in his report: "Congress appears determined to turn an adversary into a forthright enemy and encourage retaliation against more significant American interests." If anything else, the bill will make it even harder to reach a settlement in the Ukraine crisis according to Emma Ashford - Bandow's Cato Institute colleague.

World officials have also warned the US not to push Russian isolation as it may lead to dangerous waters.
