Union J's George Shelley Planning to Ask Selena Gomez Out on Beach Date? [PHOTOS]
The Justin Bieber dating rumours appear to be dying down and this time around Selena Gomez's name is up in lights. A few shippers may not be over "Jelena" but it looks like it's about to be replaced with "Gelena." Rumour has it that Selena Gomez and Union J's George Shelley is planning for a beach date.
Since the "Jelena" split, Selena Gomez has been linked to a handful of Hollywood hunks of which include David Henrie, Austin Mahone and George Shelley. Tabloids claim that Selena had even been secretly dating Austin Mahone given the two had been spotted constantly. Still, rumours remain to be rumours.
Yet, this time around the rumours may turn out to be true. Union J's George Shelley is allegedly interested in the "Come & Get It" singer. The two started flirting early this summer and now George is working on details for their first date.
"Hey, George, it's Selena. I was in London for a bit and I'm bummed I missed you, so next time give me call," said Selena in a video clip.
According to reports by The Mirror, George along with his band mates will head out to Portugal on September 11 to meet Selena Gomez in person. Shelley of course has other things in mind after the meet and greet.
"I will try to call Selena beforehand so it's not too awkward when we meet," said Shelley, adding, "My perfect date would be to go the beach at night. We could have a little bonfire."
George appears to be serious about pursuing Selena Gomez but it might not be an easy task. Sources close to Gomez claim that the "Stars Dance" singer still isn't over her ex, Justin Bieber.
"Selena is still not over Justin, not even close," says the source to Hollywood Life, adding, "This whole thing with George started as a way to make Justin jealous but now it's taken on a life of it's own. They're going to meet up when she heads to Europe so who knows? It might actually turn into a good thing and help her get her mind off of Justin - but from what all her friends are saying, she's still majorly hung up on Justin."
