Those who saw the latest trailer of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" during its launch in May and were impressed by how much detail the developers poured in by creating the most realistic look of Nathan Drake have something bigger to anticipate. Naughty Dog, the producers of the hit series, recently announced that it is still making tweaks to create the perfect look of the gaming hero.

Naughty Dog representative Teagan Morrison revealed during a question and answer portion via Twitter that the developers are still working on creating the perfect look for Drake, and it is taking a long time than what was anticipated. Notwithstanding the said development, the game is still on schedule for a 2015 release exclusively on the PS4 gaming console.

"The artists involved in crafting the face of Nathan Drake in 'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' are still perfecting it. It's taking years to get the right result," Morrison said as quoted by Segment Next.

The announcement that the developers are not yet satisfied with the look is astounding given how much work has already been put into the look of Nathan Drake as evidenced by the first trailer released last May. In the said official grab from the PS4 console, Drake is lying in a riverbank with a noticeable wound in his forehead. He slowly gets up to trek an Amazonian-like forest with the voiceover of his buddy Sully in the background egging on Drake to take on his last adventure for old time's sake.

Uncharted Trilogy Remastered To Appear in PS4?

In other related news, gaming fans all over the globe were also enthused by the rumours that the "Uncharted" trilogy, which originally debuted in the Playstation 3 console, will also be remastered and available in Trilogy form in the PS4. This comes with Sony's announcement of a new YouTube app that will allow users to screengrab some footage from actual games while using "Uncharted 3" as the sample game.

This raised the conclusion of some observers that as a precursor of the fourth instalment's release, Sony will repackage the original trilogy into one game and make it available in the PS4, similar to what it did with the God of War dual pack. Sony's Shuhei Yoshida has already entertained the idea in the past, saying that the appeal of putting out an "Uncharted" series in the PS4 has some legs, given that a survey showed that many PS4 users did not own a PS3 beforehand. At this point and at a business perspective, it would be logical if Sony indeed goes through this route. Watch the trailer for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" below:
