It seems like Ugg Australia is attempting to be the next Jimmy Choo or Stuart Weitzman when it comes to bridal shoes. But would any bride really consider walking down the aisle wearing a pair of Ugg boots?

Ugg Australia released a three piece capsule collection for their newest line "I Do." The collection consists of a silver suede Bailey I Do, a white fluffy flip flop and a white sequined studded boot named Sparkles I Do.

Without a doubt they lack the elegance and the feminine approach of a strappy or heeled stiletto provides. But for a bride who is looking for comfort over style, on the latter point there is no contest that Ugg boots are definitely comfortable. Other brides might argue that if their wedding gowns are floor-length, nobody would notice them anyway.

However, the new bridal line has received more criticism and ridicule than praise on social networking site Twitter. It is safe to say that the launch failed with the lack of style that most brides would prefer to wear on their big day.

One user wrote, "Worst news I've heard in my life." While another joked that the launch came in too late for April Fools.

Even bridal industry insiders like The Bridal Atelier joined the delirium by saying "Please girls, no!"

Well you never know, one or a few might actually pick up these bridal Ugg boots and risk looking ridiculous to in exchange for all day comfort on their wedding day.
