Xbox One and PC players can now rejoice--the free content coming to "Assassin's Creed Unity," the expansion "Dead Kings" is already out. Those playing the title on the PS4 will have to wait for just one day, as it will be released tomorrow, Jan. 15.

In a press release sent to International Business Times Australia, Ubisoft has given some more detail on what players can expect in "Dead Kings." The events in the free expansion will occur after the timeline of "Assassin's Creed Unity." Protagonist Arno will now be in the town of Saint-Denis, where he will go on a mission to explore the city, its catacombs and caves, and even the secrets of kings of generations past.

Arno's main weapon against the dark mysteries is a lantern, but for those who love wielding guns in "Assassin's Creed Unity," you can get the Guillotine Gun and use it for both close and far-ranged destruction. As promised before, there will be other faces in history that you may notice, including Napoleon as you go forward with the mission.

"Dead Kings" will also feature new side quests called the Murder Mysteries as well as co-op missions involving a heist and a special mission related to the Brotherhood. Whether you play the single or co-op mode, you will be getting new weapons, gear, outfits and more, which could be used in the main game.

With new weapons also come new enemies, and over at the official "Assassin's Creed" website, Ubisoft has detailed the new faction that will serve as your main enemy in Dead Kings. The new enemy are the Raiders, which is a group that desecrates the catacombs in the city. This is where Arno's Guillotine Gun comes in handy, as it gives you a wide range of movement for stealth and battle. The Guillotine Gun will also let you evade the patrols, observe the Raiders' camp and eventually take out the combat leaders to force the faction into disorder. Ubisoft's other top game from 2014, "Far Cry 4," has also received new updates, particularly for its new content expansion, "Escape from Durgesh Prison." According to GameSpot, the expansion is one that introduces Permadeath, wherein you will need to go through the mission without dying lest you have to go through it all over again.

This means that when main heroes Ajay and Hurk go through the prison, the player needs to go through the challenges in a smart, strategic and careful way because there is no respawning. Die once, do the whole thing all over again. The good thing about dying in the mission is that you would know how to better go through it a second time--but given the different challenges that Pagan Min has in store, you never know how many times you'd need to do the mission to get through.

"Escape from Durgesh Prison" is out for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360, with a single-player and co-op capabilities. It's free for those who already have the "Far Cry 4" DLC pass, but will be sold separately at $10.
