Melania Trump joined US President Donald Trump’s campaign-style rally in Melbourne, Florida Feb. 18, in which she recited the Lord’s Prayer. The first lady’s most recent public appearance raised concerns after several netizens noticed that she seemed to “flinch” when her husband touched her arm.

Twitter is flooded with various reactions about the first lady’s gesture. Some netizens think it is an indication of physical revulsion. Others say it might be related to something else and even advise the FLOTUS to leave her husband.

"Literally even the slightest touch by that garbage monster makes her flinch,” a Twitter user named Jess Deck wrote. "It is likely fear caused by a controlling gesture. However, it COULD be something else. Unexpected touches make me flinch/jump," another netizen suggested.

Some Twitter users believe that the president’s touch is a warning squeeze. “I'd venture to guess he doesn't like her getting more cheers than him,” Twitter user Meg Bee said. “@realDonaldTrump is so creepy his wife @MELANIATRUMP can't help flinch when he touches her. LEAVE HIM,” another wrote.

Some have also reacted to Melania’s delivery of the Lord’s Prayer. “God Bless her, but listening to Melania do 'The Lord’s Prayer' sounds like someone getting cursed to become a 'Dracula,'” @carnojoe wrote.

Since the 2016 presidential campaign, reports have flown that Melania is not happy in her marriage. According to sources speaking with US Weekly, the FLOTUS is miserable. “Melania is unhappy with how her life ended up,” alleges a family source.

Stylist Phillip Block also reportedly told the publication that one of the reasons why the FLOTUS is miserable was because of the media scrutiny that comes with her new role. "This life wasn’t her dream. It was Donald’s," he allegedly said.

Melania has not moved to Washington yet because she needs to stay in New York City until her son, Barron, finishes school. But the POTUS assured that his wife will move to the White House after a few months. "Melania goes back and forth and once Barron finishes school, it's hard to take a child out of school with a few months left, she and Barron will be moving over to the White House."

Meanwhile, a source close to Melania counters allegations that the first lady is miserable. “She is very happy with her life and supporting her husband and family,” the source told US Weekly. The president and the Slovenian former model got married in 2005.
