“Twin Peaks” star Kyle MacLachlan, returning as FBI Agent Dale Cooper in the 2017 season, has announced a Valentine’s Day contest recently. “Show me your sweethearts,” he wrote inviting entries for the contest.

According to the rules of the contest, fans have to send a candy heart picture after writing a quotation or saying on it. MacLachlan has made a template for the heart and made it available to all on his Instagram handle. “No limits to what you can do here. The more creativity, the better. Go wild!” he writes in the post. (See the tweet below.)

Fans have to use the template in the picture and post it on their Instagram handle along with hashtag #DamnFineHearts in the caption. Winner of the contest will be chosen and announced on Valentine’s Day.

Fans will have another opportunity to celebrate Valentine’s Day with “Twin Peaks.” Of course, celebrating the day with Dale Cooper’s favourites - cherry pie and cup of hot black coffee is one option. However, they also have the option of “Twin Peaks” gifts for their loved ones.

Illustrator Emma Munge is selling men of “Twin Peaks” cards through her website. “They are ready to wish your sweetheart a saucy and studly Valentine’s Day,” she writes on her Tumblr page. Fans can gift cards with pictures of Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan), Harry (Michael Ontkean), Andy (Harry Goaz), Bobby (Dana Ashbrook) and James (James Marshall) to their loved ones.

Furthermore, American company Funko has unveiled their pop vinyl toys and action figures of the favourite “Twin Peaks” stars. The pop and action figures include characters such as Dale Cooper, Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee), Log Lady (Catherine E Coulson), Audrey Horne (Sherilyn Fenn), Bob (Frank Silva) and Leland Palmer (Ray Wise). The toys will arrive for sale later this year. (Read more on the link below.)

The prequel film “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me” will also be aired on the channel on March 1 at 8:00 p.m. ET in the US. (Read more on the links below.)
