The former X Factor judge, Sharon Osbourne, has been fighting depression for 16 years. On some days she does not even want to climb out of bed, but just wants to "rot" in it, she told her shocked co-stars on The Talk. The entire group also talked about comedian Wayne Brady, who also admitted that he has struggled with depression, according to Mirror.

The 62-year-old star who has been fighting depression is taking medication for 16 years to help her cope. Her co-host, Aisha Tyler, was surprised as she had never revealed the facts earlier. To which Sharon retorted: "Nobody ever asked!", according to newkerala.com.

Sharon was also diagnosed with having suffered colon cancer in 2002. Though she was shown as clear of the cancer, she went through a double mastectomy in 2012, fighting fears about it. Her husband Ozzy, 65, admitted that she underwent "violent seizures." He worried that he might lose her. Yet, he said that his wife was the "strongest woman I know." On seeing the scans of the colon, though, he could not believe that she was afflicted by an "aggressive" cancer.

With three chemotherapies a month, following nine months, the side-effects of the disease just got worse. With her seizures, she was like The Exorcist, "bouncing around the bed." I thought I was going to lose her. He thought that she would be overwhelmed with something that was "too much for her." But when the doctor said after nine months that she was going to need nine months to overcome the therapy, she just said: "I'm cancer free, great. I'm going shopping'."

Other celebrities that were part of the talk included Wil Wheaton and Rene Russo who also talked about their illnesses, according to samachar.com.

To those who don't know who she is, her list of achievements is impressive. She is an English television host, media personality, television talent competition judge, author, music manager, businesswoman and promoter, and is married to heavy metal singer as well as songwriter, Ozzy Osbourne. Along with her family, she gained popularity after she appeared in "The Osbournes" in 2002. The show revealed her as a caring mother and wife, who went beyond just being a wife. After the end of the show, she has gone on to manage the career of her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, and judge the reality competition "America's Got Talent" from 2007 to 2012, according to biography.com.
