Former professional wrestler CM Punk made waves when he went on a detailed interview on how the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) operated specifically its medical policy and the incompetence of its company doctors particularly Dr. Chris Amann. The former heavyweight champion appeared in Colt Cabana's The Art of Wrestling podcast and also singled out company executive and talent Triple H who he claimed he had a distraught working and personal relationship.

Bryan Alvarez of Figure Four Daily shared some telling reactions to the bombshell of Punk's revelations during the latest show. Backstage reactions from wrestlers to Punk's insights were mostly positive with majority of his peers appreciating the candor and straight to the point delivery of the former wrestler turned comic book writer (Punk has been hired by Marvel to do a Thor comic book). While there is some divide between among those who support his views as compared to his detractors, the general consensus was that Punk was spot on with his medical allegations and the bias of the head honchos in promoting their talent.

"It is true, there are a lot of guys in the company who are afraid to speak out, they're afraid to say anything, they're afraid to approach management, they're afraid to ask questions, and CM Punk got a lot of that out in the podcast. And he opened a lot of people's eyes that didn't know anything about what goes on internally in WWE," Alvarez expounded in the recent podcast.

Surprisingly, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was reportedly not flaring up as most people would expect. The show runner is expected to appear in the Stone Cold Steve Austin podcast just after the Monday Night Raw event and he is expected to be barraged with Punk questions. People close to McMahon said that while the chairman will not screen out questions he will only give a short corporate answer to the allegations of Punk.

While McMahon was generally reserved to the claims of Punk, his son-in-law Triple H appeared to be ticked by the tell-all. The lead heel of the organization did not appreciate the way he was pictured as self-centred by Punk. Punk recounted a story when Triple H was adamant on wrestling him to ride on his then-popularity when he was proposing months before to feature him at the height of his "pipe bomb" gimmick. The exiled talent revealed he told off Triple H and he did not need to wrestle the coat-tail riding Triple H when he resented the person not putting him on the spotlight three years back, when it was due him.

Triple H who is also known as Paul Levesque in real life, was so furious with this revelation that Alvarez was texted by a WWE personnel who said that "Triple H wants to kill Punk." Levesque or his wife Stephanie McMahon had not yet officially commented on the issue and the WWE itself has not offered an official statement on the claims of Punk.
