Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is convinced he will reunite with incoming Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho this summer, according to a report from France.

Ibrahimovic’s contract with PSG is set to expire at the end of the season, leaving the Swede international available to head elsewhere for free. But according to French media outlet LeSport 10 and Manchester Evening News, Ibrahimovic is certain he will be heading to the Premier League side and reunite with Mourinho, who is widely speculated to be replacing Louis Van Gaal as United’s manager.

Ibrahimovic has scored 136 goals in 166 appearances for the French giants since his arrival at Parc des Princes in 2012. If he moves to Old Trafford, the 34-year-old striker would instantly boost United’s struggling offense, playing alongside senior strikers Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial.

Meanwhile, former United striker Louis Saha has urged the Red Devils to acquire Everton’s Romelu Lukaku as the Belgian striker is the “right fit” at Old Trafford, reports IBTimes UK. The 37-year-old French international believes Lukaku would be a perfect fit as an attacking option for United.

“With someone like Lukaku on United's side, especially his presence around the box, along with Martial playing on the left and Rooney also linking with the Lukaku, it will be great,” Saha claimed.

"It will be nice to have him at United. In terms of strikers, in terms of options, in terms of diversity and attacking options, Lukaku will be a right fit for United."

Lukaku struggled during his stint with Premier League rivals Chelsea, where he spent most of his time playing as a reserve. The 22-year-old Belgian joined Everton on a season-long loan in 2013 before permanently staying at Goodison Park for a five-year £28 million (AU$53.3 million) transfer deal.

Ever since playing for the Toffees, Lukaku has emerged as one of the EPL’s prolific scorers, recording 23 goals in all competition.
