Loaned Chelsea striker Fernando Torres will not make a Stamford Bridge return amid claims from various sources that AC Milan no longer wants a piece of him.

The 30-year-old Spaniard failed to impress at the San Siro despite making a promising start by finding the back of the net in just his second game with the Rossoneri. That goal, however, is still the only production that he has made, thus far, in 10 appearances.

Club administrator Adriano Galliani insists that the former Atletico Madrid man will still be given time to redeem himself.

"I don't think he will leave, even if the market is unpredictable," he told Sky Italia.

"Torres has been unlucky. He has struggled with injuries and is coming from a different league."

"We need to be patient."

"He is important and will probably return (to top form)."

Torres, who failed to live up to his £50million transfer billing in west London, is contracted with the Italian outfit until 2016, which is also the time of his contract expiration with his mother club, Chelsea.
