A poster from the Russian Total War forums claimed to have obtained information about the upcoming downloadable content (dlcs) and expansions for the game Total War: Warhammer. The leaked information was reportedly gathered by data mining the game. The leak predicted the upcoming dlc “Call of the Beastmen” almost a month before the official release. The post additionally contains information of expansion packs that add multiple factions.

However, not all dlcs were unveiled by the data miner. The 15th dlc is the latest revealed dlc, but only six are currently known. Other forum posters and players believe that the second dlc is actually the faction Britannia. Britannia is an incomplete faction and is currently unavailable in the Grand Campaign.

The third dlc was marked as “Beastmen,” which coincides with the “Call of the Beastmen” dlc launching on July 28. The sub factions available for subjugation or assimilation were also revealed, but the accuracy of this information cannot be verified until the dlc officially launches.

There is no known information about the fourth dlc, while the fifth dlc is known to be the addition of the Wood Elves. Posters have agreed that the current order makes sense lore wise as Britannia, Beastmen and Wood Elves occupy and fight for the same general area.

The sixth and seventh dlcs were unavailable, but the much anticipated Tomb Kings was written down as the eighth dlc. The Tomb Kings dlc is speculated to add more area beyond the Greenskin’s Badlands. The next dlc is also currently unknown.

The tenth dlc features the Skaven. There is a lot of speculation about the rat like Skavens since they act and move differently from the usual Warhammer races. They prefer to move around in the shadows and build their strongholds beneath Empire cities. Players continue to theory craft how the developers Creative Assembly would implement Skaven into the game.

Lastly are the 13th and 15th dlcs which are the Chaos Dwarfs and Ogres. Chaos Dwarfs capable of wielding magic unlike the untainted Dwarfs while keeping the high resistance to magic. The 15th dlc hopes to add Ogre Kingdoms as another horde faction into the game.

Two expansions are currently claimed to be released in the future. The first expansion is said to add The High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen and the island of Ulthuan.

The second expansion aims to add a separate faction for each Chaos God: Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle and Slaanesh. Whether the current Chaos Warriors will be distributed into the four new factions or remain as a standalone faction is not yet known.

Other posters speculate that the choice of worshipping either of the four Chaos Gods will be available to the Chaos Warriors. New faction-based units will then be unlocked after choosing a god.
