It is 2013 and the growth of Android devices is exponential that Google decided to make another version of the Android OS this year with 5.0 Key Lime Pie slated for release on May. Mobile phone enthusiasts are excited when could they get their hands on the most powerful, most efficient and most anticipated rumoured Android phones.

1. Samsung Galaxy S4

Samsung sold 30 million of Galaxy S3 in 2012 and made it as the top-selling handset of that year. The device even holds the title as the top smartphone for the 3rd quarter of 2012. Galaxy S4 should be bringing greater advancement than its predecessor to conquer the upcoming iPhone. Galaxy S4 is rumoured to boast 4.99 inches of HD display screen with 441ppi, 13MP camera, Exynos 5 eight-core processors, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz UI. Sadly, the device won't carry the next Android version as a starter package.

2. Motorola/Google X

Motorola was famous for its RAZR line of devices before the Android influence, but when the company decided to run the mobile OS, their devices are more focused on durability and toughness. However, Motorola has been engaged with update issues and users suffer long set back unlike with Samsung. The Motorola X Phone is rumoured to have the next Android OS, 5.0 Key Lime Pie, and Google will co-create the said device. Other tech details speculated are 5.0" HD display, Motorola Kevlar coating, weather-proofing, smash-proofing, and future-proofing.

3. Sony Xperia Z

This would be the first Android 4.1 Jelly Bean from Sony and under the Xperia line. The company will attempt to make a powerful return with its Xperia Z, featuring 5" Bravia-engine 1080p screen display with 441ppi, 13MP camera, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro, and covered all over by Gorilla Glass. It is also dust-proof and water-proof.

4. HTC One

Be stunned, be hypnotized, and be blinded by its radiance of the HTC's latest Android phone with killer specs inside. 4.7-inches of 1080p display with 468ppi, 2 front-facing speakers, 4MP-Ultrapixel camera, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, Android 4.1.2, and another flavour of smoothness from the HTC Sense 5.0. If HTC releases the device with the right price, the market will likely be on its side.

5. ZTE Nubia Z7

The successor of the ZTE Nubia Z5 is expected to match Samsung's Galaxy S4. Rumours are that Nubiz Z7 will sport 16MP camera, 128GB on-board storage, eight-core processors, 6.3-inches of screen display with 1080p resolution, 4000 mAh battery, and Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. This device could win the Phablet of the Year 2013, if there is such as award.
