After a brilliant run with Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the Cupertino headquartered tech giant is gearing up to a massive 2015. Apart from the iPhone 6 models, Apple also released the iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3, OS X Yosemite and iOS 8 in 2014. While the iPhones went through major design change especially in the form of screen size, the iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite brought in heavy integration between Apple's mobile and desktop operating systems.

Notably, the biggest rival Samsung went down in terms of profits, whereas Apple gained big time globally in 2014. Here is a list of the top 5 devices from Apple in 2015, collated by MacRumors:

Apple Watch

Apple's foray into smartwatches will see the light of the day in 2015, even though the Apple Watch was introduced in September 2014. Apple is believed to be building a 38 mm and 42 mm variants of the Apple Watch. Plus, the gear apparently is high on fashion and will come in six different casing choices. Moreover, the smartwatch's band can also be interchanged as required. The expected release date of this gadget is "early 2015."

With respect to the pricing details, the base model of the Apple Watch i.e. the sports model will set the buyers back by $349. Nonetheless, the high-end variants especially the solid gold/diamond model will reportedly cost an arm and a leg at several thousand dollars.

Apple iPad Pro

Apple is reportedly mulling a major design change for its iPad line of tablets. In 2015, the 12.2-inch to 12.9-inch tablet dubbed iPad Pro will reportedly take the driver's seat among other iPads. Apparently, this tablet will be marketed as enterprise/business-centric device, unlike iPad Air and iPad Mini.

As far as the key features go, the Apple iPad Pro will reportedly measure 7 mm in thickness, 2 GB of RAM, Touch ID Fingerprint sensor and 802.11ac Wi-Fi support. In addition, the tablet will boast an "ultra" high-resolution display, speakers/microphones and stereo audio, to name a few. The release date of the iPad Pro is speculated to be between April and June 2015.

Apple iPad Air 3 And iPad Mini 4

Even though, the new iPad Pro will be making its debut in 2015, Apple will reportedly continue to release the next-generation versions of the iPad Air and iPad Mini. Nonetheless, there will not be any major design change from the tech giant, says Value Walk.

In 2014, the Apple iPad Air 2 went though only a minor processor update. The iPad Mini 3, on the other hand, went though almost no change except for the introduction of the Touch ID Fingerprint sensor and no new processor. With no significant change in 2014, out of the two iPads, the iPad Mini could be the device to see several enhancements in 2015, says MacRumors. If reports are true, the iPad Mini 4 will feature A8X processor and an ultra thin iPad Air 2-like design. The release date of the next-generation iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4 is expected to be "late 2015."

Apple iPhone 7 Or iPhone 6S

Apple's well-received iPhone 6/iPhone 6 Plus will receive its successor in 2015. Notably, the Apple iPhone 7 release date is pegged to be around September 2015. Different reports state that the next iteration of the iPhone will be called iPhone 7 or iPhone 6S. Going by Apple's history of release, similar to other "S" upgrades, the new handset will reportedly receive a significant camera improvement. Moreover, Apple is reported to be working on a dual-lens camera unit, which uses two separate lenses to enhance the image quality.

Apart from the camera enhancement, the iPhone 6S/7 is expected to come with sapphire displays produced by Foxconn. Other reported iPhone 6S/7 specifications include the upgraded Apple A9 processor and improved battery life.
