The songs featured in Triple J’s Hottest 100 2014 Countdown have been revealed on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015. It coincided with the celebration of Australia Day. Chet Faker’s “Talk Is Cheap” topped the list. Faker is an Australian electronic musician. His other songs such as “Gold” and “1998” were also included in Triple J’s annual list of popular songs. As for singer and songwriter Sia, her hit song “Chandelier” landed on the ninth spot of Triple J’s song compilation. Read on to learn more about it.

ABC Australia reports that Triple J’s Hottest 100 2014 Countdown included 59 songs from Australia, 15 songs from the US, 14 songs from the U.K. and three songs from New Zealand. Below are the songs that made it to the Top 10 list.

Australian electronic music duo Peking Duk has two songs (“High” and “Take Me Over”) that made it to Triple J’s Hottest 100 2014 Countdown. Meanwhile, "Uptown Funk!" by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars is on sixth position. Ronson’s song from the album "Uptown Special" is currently ruling the Billboard Hot 100 Chart for the week of Jan. 31, 2015.
