Tinder has now become one of today's most used dating apps - ever since dating apps became a fad. To make the mobile dating experience even better, the makers of Tinder have decided to add a Super Like option for users who have fallen in love at first swipe.

Before this option was made accessible, Tinder users could only swipe either left or right - depending on if they are interested or not - while viewing various profiles of fellow Tinder app users.

When both users swiped right on each other's profile, this means that they mutually like each other. This was the only way for users to find out whether or not the other person liked them back. Regardless of how much they liked a certain person as compared to another user whom they still like - but not as much - everyone gets the same level of "Like" on the app.

Now, Tech Times has revealed that Tinder is going to be updated with a Super Like option. Swiping right for Tinder profiles that are absolutely amazing is not enough. Whenever users see another user's profile that seems to stand out from the rest - perhaps because of looks or other traits - they can easily swipe up.

Users can also inform the person that they swiped up on that they have placed him or her under the Super Like category by tapping a new blue star icon, which has replaced the Passport button. The latter button, meanwhile, was moved within the app's Discovery Preferences tab.

When the Super Liked person views the profile of the Tinder user who Super Liked them, they will see a blue footer and the blue star icon. He or she can then decided whether the feeling is mutual or not.

"Because they are so limited in number, a Super Like or a Swipe Up sends a more powerful signal, conveying an especially high level of interest," said Tinder CEO, Sean Rad. "People like to know that someone finds them special. We think this will lead to even better matches."
