“Thor: Ragnarok” is one of the most highly anticipated Marvel movies that is scheduled to be released in 2017. The movie is expected to bring Norse brothers Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) face to face once again. Recently, Tom Hiddleston spoke of the upcoming sequel of the franchise and revealed the future of his character.

Speaking to the reporters at the red carpet of the BAFTA Awards (via YouTube video posted by Lucia Westwick), Tom Hiddleston spilled details from “Thor: Ragnarok” and his return to Asgard. "'Thor 3' is happening at some point, and the last time we saw Loki, he was on the throne," Tom Hiddleston said. He assured that the movie will provide the answers to some of the burning questions.

When asked about his character’s future and whether fans will see him playing Loki for years to come, the actor refrained from giving any serious answers. “I don’t know if I could [Laughs]. If I keep dying my hair black, it’s going to fall out! But no, I love the character. It’s a great, great character and it’s amazing how the Marvel world who people who love films. It’s fun!,” Tom Hiddleston was quoted as saying.

“Thor: Ragnarok” is almost two years away from its release date and it is said to be in nascent stage. There is no information available about who will be directing the movie. “Thor: The Dark World” director Alan Taylor coming back remains to be seen. The screenwriting for the movie will be done by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost.

Meanwhile, it is too early to expect any concrete plot details. However, fans know that the movie will feature some major changes in Marvel Universe as by the time “Thor: Ragnarok” releases Marvel Cinematic Universe would have entered a new phase. When Digital Spy asked Chris Hemsworth if he could reveal some details about the movie, the actor replied by saying that “there is no script” yet. However, he assured that it is “pretty big.”

The abovementioned publication notes that Rangnarok is a Norse myth and series of events that leads to the death of gods and destruction of the world. “Thor: Ragnarok” is scheduled to be released on July 28, 2017 and will see the return of Chris Hemsworth as the titular superhero Thor and Tom Hiddleston as supervillain Loki.
