Kree Harrison has been a tough contender for this season of American Idol. But while she is put at the bottom two with Janelle Arthur, is there hope that she'll still turn out to be the next American Idol winner?

It's an all women road to the finale for this season of American Idol. With singers as good as this year's contestants, anyone of them deserves to be the winner. But Kree Harrison has continually been a favorite not only by the audience but as well as the judges. It's safe to say that if ever Kree happens to end up in the danger zone for tonight, the judges will most definitely use their save vote for her.

While the fascination and the cheers for the Texan contestant is still on high, let's all get to know more about Kree Harrison. Who knows, in about a few weeks time, she could turn out to be the latest winner of American Idol.

Kree Annette Harrison was born on May 17, 1990 in Woodville Texas. Quite an obvious with her lovely country accent.

She was named after the actress Cree Summer and has been performing since she was three. As they say, it's always better to start young.

She was chosen to perform at the Rosie O'Donnell Show's "Most Talented Kids" when she was just 8-years-old. Kree has appeared in the show four times until she was 12.

At age 10, she signed a record deal with Lyric Street Records. But she had to turn it down since she was asked to sing music that wasn't the kind she wanted to make.

When she was 11, her father was killed in a plane crash which led her to return home in Texas and put her musical career on hold.

At age 16, Kree signed a record deal with Nashville's Chrysalis Records.

Kree was once again hit with bad news after her mother died when she was just 19.
