Theo Walcott has praised his current Arsenal attacking line us as the best ever Arsenal have ever had especially since his arrival in the club in 2006. That Arsenal team had Thierry Henry at his prime, Dennis Bergkamp at the end of his career and the trio of attacking midfielders in Robert Pires, Fredric Lunjberg and Jose Antonio Reyes. The current side has Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott as goal getters and Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as the suppliers.

The inclusion of Alexis Sanchez has lifted the whole side according to Walcott. Sanchez has been recently dubbed as Duracell bunny because of his work rate. “You see someone working so hard and it makes you want to try to back him up”, Walcott told arsenal.com in a recent interview. Apparently he had unsuccessfully advised the Chilean to relax a bit more during the Christmas period. Even if he things that the present squad has much more attacking potential, Walcott thinks that they would have to back it up by winning more than the FA Cup.

In another interview to arsenal.com the focal point of the Arsenal attack, Olivier Giroud, spoke of the instincts that a striker must possess to be successful at the highest level. He wants all youngsters to know that just having talent is not enough. One will need to tirelessly practice on the training ground to sharpen and improve your skills. He also spoke highly of his inspirations during his formative years. He was a big fan of Andrey Shevchenko, Jean Pierre Papin, Eric Cantona as well as Thierry Henry.

For Giroud one of the most important things to do in front of the goal is stay lucid and have cold blood flow through your veins. This way one will learn to develop the killer instincts in them which are also very important for a striker.
