Struggling with injuries the past two ATP seasons, Rafael Nadal’s mission is stay healthy for the rest of 2015 as the Spaniard is set to play in three more tournaments to end the year. Nadal’s struggles with the mental aspect of the game has been well documented in recent interviews with the former world no. 1 admitting that he suffers from anxiety for the last few months, which has affected his on-court performance.

“I don't know the way I will finish the year but the best way is not to have injuries in order to keep working as I'm currently doing. If I do it, things will go well, I'm confident about it. Next tournaments are hard, I will play in a tough court for me,” Nadal said via Tennis World and cadenaser.com.

“I will compete without expecting big results. I'll just go there to work the way I'm doing, to enjoy and to do well every day in order to find what I need for 2016. And if results arrives, it will be even better.”

Nadal, who is currently playing at the 2015 Swiss Indoors Basel in Switzerland, is also set to play at the Paris Masters and has qualified for the ATP World Tour Finals in London. Before the tournament in Switzerland, Nadal has had a successful Asian swing, making the finals of the 2015 China Open losing to world no. 1 Novak Djokovic and then making the semifinal of the 2015 Shanghai Masters losing to Stanislas Wawrinka.

Nadal recently defeated Lukas Rosol in the first round, 1-6 7-6(5) 7-5 coming back from one set down to avoid another upset loss. Nadal is set to face the winner of the Sergiy Stakhovsky vs Grigor Dimitrov in the next round.
