The cast of “Teen Wolf” spills details about the upcoming season 5B and teased that the new bad guy is a monstrous “Beast.”

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, “Teen Wolf” cast members Tyler Posey, Dylan Sprayberry and Cody Christian spoke about how “scary” and monstrous the new big baddie is, named the “Beast.” Posey, who plays the lead Scott, was initially hesitant to reveal details about the “Beast,” stating that he doesn’t know what he’s allowed to say.

However, Christian, who plays Theo, mentioned that it’s best to “leave it very ambiguous” since “Teen Wolf” executive producer Jeff Davis wasn’t with them. The actor did reveal that the name of the big bad creature tells just how monstrous the new character is. “It’s a beast,” Christian added.

Posey also commented that “Teen Wolf” season 5B’s new bad creature is “ominous” and “scary,” before adding that there’s not much they can say about the “Beast.” Posey explained, “Part of it is because we don’t know much about it, as actors.” The actor also shared that he has yet to shoot a scene with the “Beast,” although his co-stars Christian and Sprayberry already had the chance to see the new bad character.

Sprayberry, who plays Liam in “Teen Wolf,” told Entertainment Weekly, “The picture of the dude that plays the thing is a guy in a gray suit with a noodle on his head.” The “noodle” is a part of the new evildoer’s costume to make the character look taller. Christian joked, “It’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Apart from sharing a few interesting details about the “Beast,” Posey teased that season 5B of “Teen Wolf” will feature a strong and “bad a— Scott,” both physically and mentally. In the Entertainment Weekly interview, Posey said that his character will be coming back into a “hero position” in the upcoming season and “kicking a--.”

Meanwhile, MTV released the first season 5B trailer of “Teen Wolf” which showed more drama and conflict between Posey’s Scott and actor Dylan O’Brien’s character, Stiles. The clip also featured an interesting scene where Christian’s Theo tells Scott that their packs will be “fighting for [their] lives,” in season 5B.

“Teen Wolf” season 5B will premiere in the U.S. on Jan. 5, 2016 on MTV.
