'Teen Wolf' Season 5 mid-season finale spoilers: Scott loses his pack in episode 10 promo video

The mid-season finale of “Teen Wolf” Season 5 will determine if the damage that Theo Raeken, played by Cody Christian, did on Scott McCall’s pack gets fixed. The next episode’s promo video teases that Stiles Stilinski, played by Dylan O’Brien, will find out about Theo’s true intentions, while the bond of Scott’s pack will continue to be tested as Theo and the Dread Doctors wreak havoc in Beacon Hills. “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 10 titled “Status Asthmaticus” is scheduled to air on Monday night, Aug. 24, at 10/9c on MTV.

Scott McCall, played by Tyler Posey, expresses uncertainty about having a pack in the mid-season finale promo video. Kira Yukimura, played by Arden Cho, had left the pack in “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 8 titled “Ouroboros” to figure out what was happening to her kitsune powers.

In the previous episode (“Lies of Omission”) Theo’s lies about Donovan’s death created a strain in Scott’s friendship with Stiles Stilinski, played by Dylan O’Brien. Scott also upset Liam Dunbar, played by Dylan Sprayberry, after rejecting his beta werewolf’s request to turn Hayden Romero, played by Victoria Moroles, into a werewolf so she could heal from the Dread Doctors’ attack.

As teased in the mid-season finale promo video, a confrontation between Scott and Liam will go down. “Don’t do this Liam. I can’t let you kill me,” Scott declares.

Another confrontation teased in the promo video involves Stiles and Theo. “I’m here for a pack. Unfortunately, it doesn’t include Scott,” Theo tells Stiles in the promo video before Stiles punches Theo in the face.

It looks like Stiles will be delivering his “I knew it!” speech in the new episode because he has been suspicious of Theo since he arrived in Beacon Hills. To make things more ominous in the next “Teen Wolf” Season 5 episode, Lydia Martin, played by Holland Roden, declares in the promo video that someone is going to die.

According to the official synopsis in a Hollywood Hills report, Scott McCall, played by Tyler Posey, and his pack will possibly face their biggest threat yet in the mid-season finale. The synopsis suggests Scott and his pack will finally find out that Theo and the Dread Doctors are allies.
