Kira (Arden Cho) saves Brett (Cody Saintgnue) and a young girl from the assassins who are after them. The Kitsune meets up with Scott to inform him about finding the surviving members of Satomi's (Lily Mariye) pack.

At the hospital, Melissa McCall (Melissa Ponzio) tells Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) that he is not allowed to leave the hospital due to the concussion he received during the attack at the Eichen House. Stiles agrees to stay if Melissa brings a cassette player in order for him to listen to Lorraine Martin's tape.

Malia (Shelley Hennig) shows up at the hospital to check on Stiles, which proves that the werecoyote still cares for him despite the betrayal on her real identity. The two finally worked out their conflict and started to solve the mystery behind Lorraine Martin's tape.

Chris Argent (JR Bourne) arrives at his abandoned warehouse. Scott and Satomi's pack also shows up at the place to hide from the assassins who were after them.

Meanwhile, Lydia (Holland Roden) and Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) talk about Meredith's (Maya Eshet) mental state at the station. Lydia tries to make Meredith talk, but Meredith wants to speak with Peter Hale (Ian Bohen) only.

Peter uses his claws to see into Meredith's memory and find out how the banshee knew him. It is revealed that Meredith, who went insane because of Lydia's grandmother, spent a couple of weeks at the hospital next to Peter after the Hale House fire.

Meredith's banshee powers enables her to listen to all of Peter's angry thoughts, including his plan to use the family fortune in creating the Deadpool list and hiring assassins to kill every supernatural creature in Beacon Hills. Sheriff Stilinski wants to put a bullet in Peter's head, but Lydia convinces the sheriff to let Peter go.

As for Stiles and Malia, the duo figures out from Lorraine's tape that Lorraine is not at the Eichen House with Brunski (Aaron Hendry) when the tape was recorded; instead, she was at the lake house. Stiles and Malia heads to the lake house to further investigate by listening to the record player.

Stiles gives up and turns off the record player. However, Malia's werecoyote abilities made her hear something else from the tape even though Stiles had already turned the player off. Stiles then finds a cord in the wall and pulls it, revealing Lorraine's Deadpool machines.

While Stiles and Malia were figuring out how to stop the machines, Scott, Chris Argent, Kira, Satomi and her pack are fighting off the assassins attacking them at the warehouse -- with Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) and Braeden (Meagan Tandy) helping them.

Stiles informs Lydia about the machines they find at the lake house through a video call. The banshee notices that the red wine stain on the carpet is gone so she asks Stiles to find the bottle. Malia smashes the bottle open and finds the key that can turn off the Deadpool machines.

Scott is about to kill an assassin but his sense of right and wrong stops him. Then, the buzz on the assassin's phone further distracts Scott. The True Alpha werewolf picks up the phone, reads the message of "The Benefactor" terminating all contracts and shows it to the assassin.

The Deadpool list may be over but Meredith begins to realize that she has done something horrible and Scott's life is still in danger. The ending scene shows a rattled Peter and Kate (Jill Wagner) talking about their plan in the sewer.

When Kate wonders if Peter is already backing out on their plan because things are not going accordingly, the resurrected Omega werewolf assures that he is not baking out when he is already close to killing his target, Scott McCall. "Teen Wolf" Season 4 will continue with episode 11 titled "A Promise to the Dead" on Monday night, Sept. 1, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
