Taylor Swift has celebrated the one-year anniversary of “1989” by giving a rare acoustic performance of her single “Out of the Woods” from the record-breaking album, which released on Oct. 27, 2014.

It’s not every day that Swift gives an intimate performance in front of a small group of people, and it’s rarer that she shares the footage of it with the world. On Oct. 27, she gave her loyal followers a surprise treat by sharing the video of her “Out of the Woods” acoustic performance at the Grammy Museum on her Twitter feed.

“Out Of The Woods” is the fourth track on “1989,” and it has never been released as a single. Swift co-wrote the song with Jack Antonoff, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Before she performed the song, Taylor talked about the inspiration behind the track, saying: "I'm going to play you a song that I wrote about a relationship that I was in that the number one feeling I felt in the whole relationship was anxiety, because it felt very fragile, it felt very tentative.”

The 25-year-old also said that “a lot of relationships can be very solid and that's kind of what you hope for, solid and healthy. But that's not what you always get.”

“It doesn't mean that it's not special and extraordinary, just to have a relationship that's fragile and somehow meaningful in that fragility," she added.

According to reports, Swift was probably hinting at her troubled relationship with One Direction’s Harry Styles. The two reportedly dated from October 2012 to January 2013.
