Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris called 'Mom and Dad' in fan's dinner photo with couple

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris may have just recently given a young fan the best dinner of his life. The couple was about to enjoy a private dinner at Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on Tuesday when Ricky Selby asked to join them and they agreed. The fan later took to social media to share a snap of his meet up with the couple, whom he called “mom and dad.”

Selby shared a photo of his dinner with Swift and Harris on his Instagram. The photo shows the trio sitting in one table. Swift and Harris are looking at the camera while the fan pretended to look at his menu. “Awesome dinner with mom and dad,” Selby captioned the shot.

The fan’s photo has since received over 12,000 likes since he posted it to his Instagram on Wednesday. Selby’s photo with the “Blank Space” singer and her Scottish DJ boyfriend has also received various comments from other fans who expressed their jealousy.

Another Instagram user named heidi.swift_13 wrote, “Wow you are soo lucky.” Another fan named _christinex0@_carolinekay said, “Random fan who got invited to sit on Taylor and Harris dinner date and now he's famous.”

There were also those who didn’t believe that Selby was invited by Swift and Harris. Another user named swiftie_loving@_christinex0 commented that Selby just so happened to see the couple and decided to sit with them. User aniiisharma said the fan actually crashed Swift and Harris’ dinner date.

The couple’s dinner date came after spending the holidays together. Harris joined Swift and her family for Christmas in her hometown in Colorado. The singer shared a photo of Harris’ time in Colorado on her Instagram page.

It’s believed Harris is ready to propose to Swift. Swift has reportedly been staying in Harris’ home in Beverly Hills since they have already made plans to get engaged. A source said the DJ has also talked about marriage with his family and has been shopping around for engagement rings.

The insider further claimed the couple are head-over-heels in love with each other and suggested that an engagement is happening soon. However, Harris has since denied that he and Swift are engaged or living together in previous interviews.
