T-Mobile has quietly increased the price of its unlimited data plan amidst the public's excitement over Binge On and its recent Un-carrier X private concert in California featuring Bruno Mars, Lil John and DJ Vice, among other celebs.

Binge On is a new T-Mobile offer that exempts video streaming services such as HBO and Netflix from its data plans. Clients weren’t directly informed about a price hike that saw the cost of the unlimited data plan jump to $45 from $30. This means a single line on the Simple Choice plan will cost $95 with unlimited data but before taxes and other charges, according to Tech Times.

On the other hand, the price hike guarantees subscribers double the amount of data on a mobile hot spot. That means the standard 7 GB has now risen to 14 GB.

This new price took effect November 15. On the bright side is that current T-Mobile customers are exempted from the higher fees, as pointed out by Engadget. It must be noted, however, that clients wanting their mobile hot spot limit to be twice as much must pay an extra $21 for the new plan. The plan was previously priced at $112 per month.

Consumers with T-Mobile's $70 per month plan will now get 2 GB instead of 1 GB. Users of the carrier's $91 plan will get 6 GB of data, while those with the $112 plan are going to get as much as 10 GB. Although these plans won’t give its user unlimited data, the user is now given access to twice as much as data for the same price.

Moreover, new T-Mobile clients will also be given a free video rental from Vudu every month starting 2016. Sadly, this new deal doesn’t really make up for the sneaky price increase. Still, it’s worth noting it looks liks a pretty good offer.
