Much awaited Android 5.0 Lollipop software upgrade for the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is now rolling out for users. It has the firmware build version T807TUVU1BOE1 with file size of 1.1 GB.

T-Mobile Releases Android 5.0 Lollipop Software Update For Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5

T-Mobile subscribers using the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 can now download the official Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade. It carries the firmware build version T807TUVU1BOE1 having the file size of 1.1 GB. Users can download and install the new software version via Over-the-Air process or Samsung Kies to get numerous features and improvements provided by Android 5.0 Lollipop such as Google’s Material Design, Android Runtime, Android Smart Lock, multiple user profile and Guest Mode, new notifications and lock screen and system stability enhancements.

How To Download And Install The New Software

T-Mobile owners of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 must fulfil the certain requirements first in order to have a smooth downloading and installing process. The tablet’s battery must be at least 50 per cent, a data connection using 4G or Wi-Fi and enough storage space of at least 1.1 GB for the installation.

For OTA update process, tap Apps and then tap on Settings. From there, select the General tab, tap the About Device and select on Software Update. Hit Ok and Start to begin checking of latest software version then tap on Ok to download it. Do not interrupt the installation once it has begun to prevent corrupting the firmware.

A computer can also be used to download and install the latest software build. Download the Samsung Kies PC Suite on the computer and install the program. Go to the tablet and prepare it for update by selecting Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging and enable it. Launch the Samsung Kies program and connect the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 using a USB cable. Allow the drivers to be installed and let the program to check for the latest software version through the Internet. Follow the instructions provided by Samsung Kies PC Suite to safely install the firmware. Do not turn off or put the machine to sleep or disconnect the USB cable to avoid interrupting the installation process.
