The return of "Supernatural" Season 9 from a long break is just days away. The CW Network has released the promo photos for Episode 18 titled "Meta Fiction" as well as a video clip to tease the fans about what the Winchester brothers will do in the brand new episode and what goes down while dealing with their issues involving the fallen angels.

The brief video clip teased how busy and determined Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) are in tracking down Abaddon (Alaina Huffman). Sam notices that his brother is still dealing with the effects of the "Mark of Cain" on his arm but Dean assures that he is fine and they should get to work.

The promo photos further teased about the episode's story focusing on the angels like Gadreel (Tahmoh Penikett), Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) and of course, Castiel (Misha Collins). The Winchester brothers can be seen reuniting with Castiel as they discuss their plan of how to stop Metatron and dealing with their captive Gadreel and Metatron who appears to have a deceitful plan under his sleeve. According to the Examiner report, Episode 18 will have Metatron convincing Castiel in joining forces with him. Castiel, who is obviously still upset with Metatron for his treachery making the angels fall down from Heaven, refused Metatron's offer and the decision sets off a shocking plan in motion.

As for Gadreel, the promo photos showed that the fallen angel will finally face the brothers that he tricked. One image showed Dean looking really angry at the angel who possessed his younger brother after giving a fake identity. However, the episode's released still images further revealed the intense upcoming scenes like Sam and Dean attacking Metatron with the angel blade and Metatron managed to take Gadreel away from the hunters.

The airing schedule of "Supernatural" Season 9 is set every Tuesday night at 9 pm ET on the CW Network. The hit TV series will be returning from its hiatus on April 15, 2014 with Episode 18 titled "Meta Fiction" where serious angels business is expected to happen.
