The storyline on "Supernatural" character Castiel has been a slow personal burn in the first half of season 10 starting with the angel's mission of finding the fallen angels to who refuse to go back to heaven with Hannah (Erica Carroll). Actor Misha Collins, who portrays the angel character, talked about in an interview what will make Castiel busy when the CW TV series returns in 2015.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 40-year-old actor teased that Castiel will become busy when "Supernatural" Season 10 returns from its holiday break as he deals with the Mark of Cain on Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) and Claire, the daughter of his vessel Jimmy Novak.

The storyline on the Mark of Cain will be the focus after Dean asked Castiel to take him out if he goes dark again. The angel also saw the effects of the mark on the Winchester hunter in the mid-season finale episode titled "The Things We Left Behind."

Aside from dealing with Dean and the Mark of Cain, Misha Collins revealed that Castiel's hands will be full because of Claire Novak (Kathryn Love Newton), his vessel's teenager daughter. The actor hopes that the character will become a key recurring character in the CW TV series.

Misha Collins explained that Claire Novak had an emotional impact on Castiel. "He feels bad for having f-ed up this girl's life, and he wants to help her," the CW star shared. The actor added that the experience is something new for the angel because it is an interaction with a human on a very personal level.

"Cas is intimately involved in trying to remove the Mark," Collins revealed to THR. The cast member added that removing the Mark of Cain from Dean's arm will be an important mission in "Supernatural" Season 10.

"Cas will be instrumental in 'de-marking' Dean. In this stretch of the season arc, the focus is on Dean," Collins further teased. Castiel may be on borrowed angel grace at the moment but Misha Collins assured that the angel's health is "not nearly as much of an issue."

"Supernatural" Season 10 is scheduled to return on the CW Network on Tuesday night, Jan. 20, 2015. Producer Todd Aronauer confirmed the upcoming episodes airing schedules on Twitter. "#Supernatural 'Theres No Place Like Home' will air Jan 27th. 'The Hunter Games' will air Jan 20th. we shot them out of order," the producer posted on his Twitter account @TAronauer on Wednesday, Dec. 10, to clarify the confusion.

According to a Carter Matt report, the two episodes were filmed out of order due to conflict on work schedule like what happened to their guest star Felicia Day, who portrays "Supernatural" character Charlie Bradbury. A released promo video teased Charlie's return in "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 10 titled "The Hunter Games" on Jan. 20, 2015 but producer Todd Aronauer already clarified the airing schedule on the social networking site.
