Gaming experts believe “Super Mario Run” is set to become the next big thing in mobile gaming after “Pokemon GO.” The game requires an active internet connection and has three modes. A one-time fee of US$9.99 (AU$14) unlocks all the game features. As the game has just released on iOS, this is the time players should start playing and take a lead. Here are a few tips and tricks that can get players going in the World Tour mode.

Before starting the World Tour mode, players need to master their jumps first, check out for the Pause blocks, try new characters, us the Replay feature and explore as much as possible. Syncing with the “My Nintendo” account is mighty important. In the World Tour Mode, players’ ultimate goal is to reach a flagpole at the end of each level. It’s not as easy as it seems. Mario will automatically hop over enemies and obstacles.

However, players need to perfect the jumps to collect as many coins as possible. A quick tap makes Mario jump but a long tap makes him jump higher. Sometimes the classic side-scrolling Mario gameplay in “Super Mario Run” becomes intense and difficult. That is when players should use the Pause blocks. The extra time helps players figure out which path to take to avoid enemies.

The “Replay” feature in “Super Mario Run” is for the explorers who want to try out everything in every level. Exploring helps in unlocking hidden coins and items. Exploration is instrumental especially if one wants to replay the game after completing 24 stages. “Super Mario Run” players must not forget to try out the new characters. It is not advisable to stick to a player’s favourite character.

Sometimes, it becomes impossible for Mario to crack certain levels. This is where new characters come to save the day. “Super Mario Run” characters such as Yoshi and Peach have different jump styles and can reach certain areas that Mario may fail to do. Players are also advised to sync the game with their My Nintendo account. This may get them new character Toad aside from gaining additional points, writes The Verge.
