The upcoming Season 5 of “Suits” is likely to see a little bit more of Harvey Specter’s (Gabriel Macht) family. Season 3 of “Suits” saw Harvey’s late father, Gordon Specter (James McCaffre), make an appearance in a flashback scene. And in Season 4 finale, Harvey’s brother, Marcus Specter (Billy Miller), was introduced as someone who had a gambling problem in the past but since has turned over a new leaf. And unlike his big brother, Marcus does not seem to have relationship issues, as he is happily married.

Speaking about the possibility of seeing more of Harvey’s family in “Suits” Season 5, Macht said to TV Fanatic that he would like to see more of that. Also, the series’ creator Aaron Korsh is interested in exploring Harvey’s family idea further. “He had engaged in the idea because he loved the dynamic between Harvey and [his brother] Marcus,” Macht said.

The actor said that Marcus has been dealing with some issues and Harvey feels that he is responsible for some of them, which according to him “creates drama.” “... I think [Aaron] is going to try and follow that story a little bit. I hope he does,” Macht said to TV Fanatic.

Meanwhile, when “Suits” returns with Season 5 episodes, Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) will be seen working for Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman). At the end of Season 4, Donna told Harvey that she is leaving him to work for Louis and that she loves him. As previously reported, “Suits” writers are not in a hurry to fix this broken professional relationship. Donna working as Louis’ secretary is going to affect everyone in the firm. Harvey is likely to get a new secretary and along with that a shrink, too.

“Suits” Season 4 had its share of legal cases but the season would be best remembered for its personal moments and emotional outbursts. It looks like the initial episodes of “Suits” Season 5 are going to focus more on the personal conflicts than legal battles. Or, as it will be in the case of the newly-engaged couple Mike Ross (Patrick J Adams) and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), a legal case will lead to surfacing of issues in their almost rock-solid relationship. As previously reported, Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) and Mike will find themselves involved in a case, which is not good news for Rachel-Mike relationship.

The production on “Suits” Season 5 has yet to begin. The first instalment of the new season is set to premiere this summer, most probably in June.
