Scott Eastwood recently talked about “Suicide Squad” and about movie director David Ayer’s vision for the film. The actor also recalled his reaction seeing Jared Leto with his Joker look for the first time.

E Online caught up with Scott Eastwood at the Maui Film Festival where he was asked about “Suicide Squad.” Although the actor didn’t reveal any details to his undisclosed role in the film, he did discuss doing his own stunts, David Ayer’s plans for the DC Comics adaptation and Jared Leto’s portrayal of the Joker. The actor assured that David Ayer is doing something that would really surprise the world.

As for the stunts, Eastwood said the casts had to do sweat it out as well with their own stunts. “We're a lot of our own stunts... really physical, and David is a very physical filmmaker. He wants everyone doing their own stuff, and he doesn't hire guys who are not willing to do that,” he revealed.

Scott Eastwood was then asked what it was like meeting Jared Leto as the Joker for the first time. "I think I was sort of afraid to approach him because I didn't want to mess with his thing going on," he admitted. But the actor said he’s met Jared Leto before he was the Joker but was hesitant to approach the Oscar winner while he was on character for fear of messing up “his thing.”

Scott Eastwood is rumoured for the role of Steve Trevor in “Suicide Squad.” Movie scoopster Umberto Gonzalez previously mentioned on his Instagram post that his role in the film will set him up for his appearance in “Wonder Woman” opposite Gal Gadot. Cinema Blend further claimed Eastwood will play as the A.R.G.U.S. agent (Advanced Research Group for Uniting Super-Humans) who works under the command of Suicide Squad leader Amanda Waller.

In the DC Comics, Steve Trevor is Wonder Woman’s love interest. He reportedly also served as the government’s liaison with the Justice League and eventually became the head of A.R.G.U.S.

Whether Scott Eastwood will play as Steve Trevor remains unconfirmed. The actor will join other casts in “Suicide Squad” including Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jair Courtney (Captain Boomerang) and Cara Delevingne (Enchantress).
