Another lead character in ''Suicide Squad,'' Australian actor Jai Courtney, has spilled out some thoughts on his character Digger Harkness, also known as Captain Boomerang. To make things more interesting, his feelings towards the journey on getting a major role were given ample attention.

As Courtney may be looking at his next prominent — and presumably his biggest role yet, the actor confidently spoke his mind during an interview with The Patriot Ledger. Courtney did not hold back on his thoughts and stated some blunt, direct-to-the-point responses.

One of the most notable answers the actor gave was against the question of defining acting in his perspective. Courtney said, “ I don’t really know what acting is. For me it’s just instincts. It’s what feels right for the flavour of what I’m attacking. I think a transformation happens whenever you step into a different role, but sometimes we feel like actors play the same character their entire careers. I think sometimes that’s the way to do it: Give fans what they expect. But I don’t really know what it is that I’m doing yet, therefore I can’t really actively try to repeat and structure a persona around a character that works for me. ”

When asked further, the "Suicide Squad"-starrer said that acting is somewhat "faking" in his perspective. It works basically as the skill of convincing someone or telling lies that are believable, which the actor admits on enjoying. Moreover, Courtney said that he also feels a little bit more loose on using his native Australian accent as most of his movies required him to sound American.

Courtney followed up his statement and said that learning the said accent is considered essential in the universe of Hollywood.

Meanwhile, Courtney’s definition of Captain Boomerang is as immensely crooked as it gets while in the universe of "Suicide Squad". Being a former special-forces agent, the character is also a drunkard, a thief, a burglar and a whole lot of other things that make him a worthy foe to The Flash.

While in the talk of The Flash, Movie News Guide reports that a potential involvement of the "scarlet speedster" may be seen in "Suicide Squad." The connection of the said hero is speculated upon to be that of Captain Boomerang’s capture or a potential origin story as well.

Courtney can be recalled on his roles for movies such as "Terminator: Genisys," "A Good Day to Die Hard" and "I, Frankenstein." Keep posted for more news on "Suicide Squad," airing in Australia this Thursday.
