The 2016 People’s Choice Awards kicked off awards season this year. Some of Hollywood’s biggest names attended the ceremony at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Some of the actresses who dazzled with their designer outfits include Kate Hudson, Priyanka Chopra, Melissa McCarthy, Natalie Dormer, Claire Danes, Lea Michele, Julianne Hough, Vanessa Hudgens and more.

Kate Hudson

The “Rock the Kasbah” star rocked a white strapless jumpsuit on the red carpet. She accessorised with drop earrings by Jorge Adeler and geometric rings. Hudson paired her look with Brian Atwood sandals and a white cylinder clutch by Jimmy Choo, US Weekly reports.

Priyanka Chopra

The “Quantico” star wore a Vera Wang metallic outfit, which she paired with silver high heels by Jimmy Choo. Chopra accessorised with Leticia Linton and Anita Ko earrings and rings. She also carried a metallic clutch. Her hair was styled in an up ‘do’ while she looked fierce with her smoky eyes and pink lipstick.

Melissa McCarthy

The “Mike and Molly” star wore a pale pink silk tunic over tailored black slacks and paired the ensemble with black pumps.

Lea Michele

The “Scream Queens” actress opted for a little black dress by Elie Saab. The dress featured a see-through panelling and it showed off Michele’s legs. She completed her look with a pair of black T-strap heels.

Natalie Dormer

“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” star looked fierce in an all-black jumpsuit by Roland Mouret. The outfit featured a sheer turtleneck and long sleeves which Dormer paired with black pumps.

Claire Danes

The “Homeland” actress wore a black and white backless gown. It featured a keyhole cut-out and sheer mesh panelling. Kwiat baubles added extra bling to the outfit and she completed her look with a striking red lipstick.

Meghan Trainor

The “All About that Bass” singer opted for a classic V-neck frock with gold-beaded embellishments that ran down in stripes. She paired her look with a nude clutch and gold pumps.

Julianne Hough

The “Dancing With the Stars” judge turned heads on the red carpet in a sleek, sparkly off-the-shoulder gown in black. Her dress is by KaufmanFranco that featured cut-outs. Hough accessorised with a silver Edie Parker clutch, black Giuseppe Zanotti heels and matching baubles.

Keke Palmer

The “Scream Queens” star looked stunning in a two-piece number by Kuwaiti-born designer Yousef Al-Jasmi. It featured a lacy long-sleeved crop top and silky maxi skirt. Statement earrings and black pumps completed her look for the night.

Vanessa Hudgens

The “High School Musical” actress stunned at the award ceremony in a gunmetal-coloured gown by Kayat. Hudgens paired her outfit with strappy sandals, a metal choker, black Jack Vartanian earrings and a matching Rodo box clutch.
