French cyclist Pauline Ferrand-Prevot strangely looks like the Duchess of Cambridge
The whole world just cannot get enough of the lovely Duchess of Cambridge’s face . Good enough, an equally lovely look-alike has been spotted speeding with a road bike in the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At a quick glance, one might think that Kate Middleton could now be competing for Gold at the Olympics, but that is not the case.
Pauline Ferrand-Prevot, a cyclist who hails from France, has been dubbed by those covering the Olympics as the Duchess’ Olympic twin or her doppelganger. A post on News.com.au gives a detailed comparison on the lovely women.
Despite a 10-year difference in age, their eyes are very similar and even how they wear their makeup is quite identical. The French cyclist also comes with the Royal Duchess’ signature smile and dimples everyone has grown to love. To cap it off, even their long curly lashes, perfectly shaped eyebrows and pearly white teeth appear strangely identical. The only visible difference appears to be their hair colour.
While Middleton is a brunette, Ferrand-Prevot is a blonde, but that still does not dispel their uncanny resemblance. Maybe if the French Olympian thought of dyeing her hair a few shades darker, people would start mistaking her for the Kate Middleton.
While the 24-year-old already appears gifted with her Royal good looks, she actually is more blessed with her athletic prowess and talent. She placed 26th in the women’s road race and will compete in the women’s cross-country on August 20, says a post in ET Online.
Prior to that, she has already cemented her name in cycling history as being the first person ever to hold the world road title, world cyclo-cross title and world mountain bike title all at the same time. Unfortunately, Ferrand-Prevot had to say goodbye a little earlier through an Instagram post which was captioned “Disappointed. See you in 4 years.”
She might have not been lucky this time, but she sure did score a jackpot from birth by scoring those good looks from the gene lottery. Surely, this beautiful and young athlete has a lot ahead of her.
