The Beckham family knows how to make money, from Victoria’s clothing line to David’s endorsements. Even their children are part of their business ventures. The family seems to have a magic touch when it comes to making money. So much so that a new study revealed the Beckham family is worth around £500 million or AU$1 billion.

According to The Independent, a study made by the London School of Marketing showed the Beckham clan earns around £30-£40 million ( AU$65-AU$87 million) a year. The family’s earnings reportedly come from three of their main corporate business ventures.

Footworks, where David’s football-related revenues are collected, is valued at £150 million (around AU$327 million). The Beckham name alone is at £70m (around AU$153 million) and Beckham Ventures at £60 million (around AU$131 million). According to the study, the family’s non-business assets is also valued at around £190 million (around AU$414 million).

“The Beckham name has the Midas touch when it comes to advertising; even the mere mention of their name associated with a brand is a small news event in itself. What is also interesting is that the family name is almost as influential as any individual family member," said Anton Dominique, chief marketing officer at the London School of Marketing.

Aside from Victoria and David making a huge fortune with their individual business ventures, their children are reportedly also pitching in to the family’s revenue. The couple’s children are starting to catch up on marketing appeal through social media. Their eldest son, 16-year old Brooklyn, now has over 4.4 million Instagram followers. He recently also graced the cover of Miss Vogue magazine. Next in line is Romeo. The 13-year old helped with the increase of Burberry sales by up to 15 percent after he modelled for their Christmas campaign.

According to The Telegraph, David’s earnings soared even after his retirement from playing professional football. He reportedly also just signed another deal to headline the clothing line Trinity, by Hong Kong-based owner of Gieves & Hawkes. Meanwhile, Victoria’s fashion business continues to grow after she was named in the United Kingdom as top entrepreneur in 2014.
