Judy Murray revealed that her British no. 1 son, Andy Murray asked her to raise her game in Strictly Come Dancing 2014, so she can stay in the competition longer and he can eventually see her dance in person.

"Andy and Jamie watch my performance every week from afar and they reckon I'm getting better. Their opinion means more to me than Bruno's and Craig's. I would love Andy and Jamie to come to see me dance, but that isn't going to be possible for another couple of weeks. Andy keeps telling me to 'up my game' so that he can come to the studio. Now there's an incentive! That really would be payback," the 55-year-old said according to Radio Times.

Thus far, Andy Murray has been quite busy on court as he continues to secure his spot for the upcoming ATP World Tour Finals in London and he does not have the time to watch his mother on stage. Despite notching her best score so far, Judy Murray and her professional partner Anton Du Beke need all the help they can get.

On Saturday, Strictly Come Dancing 2014 judge Craig Revel Horwood said that Judy Murray looked like she'd been lobotomised but she managed to be spared from elimination because of the viewer votes. But then again, Andy Murray appears to be enjoying his mother's dancing style as his mother revealed that when her son knew that she will be dancing tango, he said that she will be good at it because it involves stomping around and looking angry.

Meanwhile, Andy Murray recently clinched the Vienna Open title with 5-7, 6-2, 7-5 victory over David Ferrer, who is also his main rival to qualify for the ATP World Tour Finals in London, next month. Thus far, Andy Murray is already on the eighth spot in the Race to London ranking, where only the top eight world ranked tennis players are qualified to join in the season-ending tournament on November 9-16. Murray is one rank higher and 110 points ahead of his Spaniard rival.
