Street Fighter V
Ibuki is coming with more than just kunais to "Street Fighter V" as its new fighter. Capcom

Capcom has first released the trailer for “Street Fighter V” new roster addition Ibuki. The kunoichi is joining the game complete with her tricks and moves for a more unpredictable character.

Over at the Capcom blog, the developer detailed some of the new weapons that Ibuki will be using in her fights. The staples are obviously the kunais, which are ingrained in Ibuki’s playstyle. However, Capcom has added some new moves as well as mechanics to help players give Ibuki more strategy during battles.

As Ibuki is only able to stock five kunais at one time before refills, players will have to be discerning when it comes to how they will dispose of the weapons for maximum damage. She also has air glides and ninja bomb tosses into the mix to spice up her playstyle even more.

Ibuki’s V-Skill is the Tenrai, which allows her to build up energy and blast it from her palm to her opponent. Players will have to take note of just when they will use this weapon, because the range will be dependent on the length of charging time.

Her V-Trigger, the Isshaku Horokudama, lets her access bombs that can be thrown at the opponent. Like the V-Skill, the direction and time to explosion for the bomb is dependent on the player’s tactics, and can be timed with the proper strategy for the best damage inflicted.

Ibuki also has a the Kachofugetsu, where she can perform ninjutsu seals to work on a big blast to the opponent’s skull. This is a display of her ninjutsu training and skills.

More than Ibuki’s addition to the “Street Fighter V” roster, Capcom has teased an alternate stage coming to the game. Additionally, the developer is ramping up June to be a huge month for “Street Fighter V,” particularly for the Story Expansion,

“We also have a brand new alternate stage coming! It’s a day time version of the Kanzuki Estate stage, aptly named Estate at Noon. Look forward to throwing down among the sunlit cherry blossoms!” said Capcom in the blog.

The new trailer for Ibuki can be seen below. For more screenshots of the schoolgirl kunoichi in action, like the one above, the official Street Fighter Facebook features a whole lot of them.
