Even without a lot of movement or confirmations for “Street Fighter V,” fans have been excited ever since it was announced for the PS4 and PC. At the Taipei Game Show 2015, however, a few more information have suggested a few new developments that fans may be interested in.

It appears that developer Capcom may be looking at fan likes and dislikes, as far as character addition is concerned. Shoryuken got word from the interview session with producer Yoshinori Ono at the event, and found that community input may factor in the roster list.

Of course, that doesn’t mean that fans can expect all of their most wanted cast to make a return. Despite this, the fact that most-requested character Charlie Nash is now making a comeback since his “Street Fighter Alpha 3” days prove that community voice can be heard. Fans of Guile, however, may have to give way. The source stated that a compromise may be impossible as the two characters may not co-exist in the game—unless big changes are made.

The Taipei Game Show was not complete without showing off some new gameplay from Capcom’s upcoming “Street Fighter V.” DualShockers managed to snag a video, seen below, that shows off a match between two of its iconic characters, Ryu and Chun-Li.

“Street Fighter V” is not just looking at developments in the game, but also in a tie-in with Udon’s “Super Street Fighter Volume 2: Hyper Fighting.” Talking to Event Hubs, Udon’s Matt Moylan revealed that there are plans of ensuring that the comic is in sync with the game.

“We are planning some ‘Street Fighter V’ tie-ins for sure, and we’re also working with Capcom to make sure we have the right amount of synergy with the new game story. It’s going to be an exciting time for both the games and the comics,” said Moylan to Event Hubs.

There are already some details revealed for the second volume, particularly in relation to the Secret Society’s goals. The source adds that the second volume is going to look in the past of Urien and Gill. In addition, the short stories in the comic book will aid in introducing more characters and elements into the story to build it up later on.

The expected release date for “Super Street Fighter Volume 2: Hyper Fighting” is March. Given the new development, it’s no wonder that fans are asking if the two mentioned characters in the comic, Gill and Urien, will make an appearance in “Street Fighter V.” Fans have a lot of looking forward to do for the PS4 and PC title.
