With leaks about “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” suggesting that the new trilogy is following a path similar to the original trilogy, but with a difference, fans are prepared for the dark tone the film is promising. Just as “Empire Strikes Back” revealed details about the villain Darth Vader, including the big “I’m your father” moment, the upcoming sequel is expected to have such a scene. The following article contains spoilers.

The super weapon in “A New Hope” was the Death Star, then “The Empire Strikes Back” introduced Darth Vader’s massive ship. In the new trilogy, viewers have already seen a planet-sized weapon. In the sequel, reports suggest there will be a massive ship of Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis).

The sequel in the original trilogy first showed what Darth Vader looks like under that helmet. Now the upcoming movie will show what Snoke looks like in the flesh. But what will be the “I’m your father” moment? And who will be involved in this scene?

A report by Screen Rant suggests that Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) may be the new villain. He will not turn to the Dark side like his father, but he will be a villain of a different kind. It has been suggested that Luke will have to fight Rey in the film.

So just as Darth Vader asked Luke to join him to fight the Emperor, there may be a scene in the upcoming movie in which the Jedi Master will ask Rey to join him to fight Snoke and his First Order. Will he choose a ruthless path to achieve this goal? How will his apprentice react?

Rey’s background is still unclear. What has been confirmed through her visions is that Luke and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) are connected to her past in some way.
