Director Rian Johnson has shared a video online, calling it a “sneak peek” of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” The video doesn’t contain footage from the film, but it does show a cute little officer of the First Order wanting the end of the New Republic.

The video shows a boy wearing a General Hux (Domgnall Gleeson) hat and giving a speech from the First Order officer in “Force Awakens.” Fueled by the power of the deadly device they had constructed, the speech was about the end of the New Republic.

While Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) has been the main focus on the new trilogy from the villains’ side, it looks like General Hux has a few fans, too. After delivering his speech, the kid in the video was eager to see how the recording went.

Meanwhile, pictures of the new Black Series toys have leaked online. The pictures posted on Twitter show the costumes and accessories of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Rey (Daisy Ridley).

Rey will be training to be a Jedi in the upcoming film. Her new costume is a grey gown with brown boots. She will continue to use her staff, in addition to Luke’s blue lightsaber.

The new trilogy is inspiring a new generation of fans. Just as fans who were kids in 1977, when the first film came out, children today are enjoying the sci-fi films with the same amount of enthusiasm.

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” will be releasing on Dec. 14 in Australia. The movie is expected to explain why Luke decided to end the new Jedi Order he was building in the flashback, and the reason why he changes his mind and takes on a new apprentice. The reason for Kylo Ren’s turn to the Dark Side may also be teased in the film.
