Another spoiler for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has reached online ahead of its theatrical release on Dec. 18. 2015. This time it involves Domhnall Gleeson’s rumoured role as “Imperial General” and some battle sequences that reportedly takes place on an ice planet.

Making Star Wars has detailed one of the action sequences in “Star Wars : The Force Awakens” that supposedly happen during the battle between the Rebels, under the command of Princess Leia, and the Imperials, under the command of Domhnall Gleeson’s rumoured character. This battle reportedly takes place at the castle in the sky above the snow planet and involves the destruction of Princess Leia’s superweapon called the “Sledge Hammer.”

“The Imperial General (Domhnall Gleeson) orders the activation of ‘The Array,’ as the Imperial Catapult is not yet charged up. In that moment, projectiles are fired and all the ships in space are destroyed,” writer Jason Ward said.

Gleeson’s rumoured role as Imperial General in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is described by Ward as “cold-hearted” and clearly cruel as he is willing to sacrifice his own men to defeat the enemy. According to Ward, one scene from the battle involves Gleeson shooting down his men while they ride in the sky on their TIE Fighters just so he could take down the Rebel ships.

Meanwhile, Queen Leia and her troops are supposedly no match to the Imperial General and his men during this battle. Worse, her weapon, the Sledge Hammer, fails to do its job and instead falls into the atmosphere, breaking into parts. This superweapon is said to be the same tool used by Leia to crash Star Destroyers. Seeing temporary defeat, Princess Leia then orders for the Rebel troops to retreat.

According to Screen Rant, Domhnall Gleeson could also be playing the role of a double agent in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” His character is said to be on a secret mission to rid the galaxy of superweapons, which could explain the destruction of Princess Leia’s Sledge Hammer during the sky battle. Gleeson’s rumoured character is believed to be on a task to do bad things in the name of the greater good. He’s reportedly also on a hunt for Finn (John Boyega) after the latter goes AWOL from the Empire.
