A “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” merchandise for sale in Amazon may have accidentally revealed Finn’s (John Boyega) lineage. The description attached to the product claimed the Stormtrooper is Lando Calrissian’s son. However, a report noted several mislabels on the product that suggest otherwise.

A screen grab of the jigsaw puzzle for sale in Amazon shows Boyega in character holding a blaster. “Star Wars RARE COLLECTIBLE! New Episode 7 "Finn" (Lando Calrissian's Son) 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle in Collectible Storage Tin by Disney Lucas Films Ltd,” read the description attached to the merchandise.

The product listing certainly stirred rumours that Finn may be Lando’s son in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” However, Making Star Wars pointed out several flaws from the advertised product which somehow refutes the product’s claims.

Jason Ward from Making Star Wars cited several reasons to deny that Finn is Lando’s son. The product alone already got the company name wrong. Instead of Lucasfilm or Lucasfilm Ltd., the product advertised it as “Disney Lucas Films Ltd.”

Another reason why the spoiler is wrong, according to Ward, is the film’s title attached to the item. Instead of writing “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” the seller wrote “Star Wars VII Force Awakens.” Ward said Disney and Lucasfilm are no longer using the moniker VII on anything, be it for marketing purposes.

Another dead give-away why the product is giving false information about Finn’s parentage is the name of the seller. According to Ward, it’s clearly written on the puzzle description that a company named P & E Enterprise is selling the item through Amazon. It’s reportedly P & E Enterprise that’s to blame for the mislabelled item.

Furthermore, Ward claimed he has seen the item in person. He said the jigsaw puzzle itself did not provide any identifying clues to suggest that Finn is Lando’s son in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

However, Heroic Hollywood claims Amazon is bind by legal standards when it comes to false advertising. It’s supposedly still likely that the product has indeed provided a major spoiler in the film. It’s reportedly still possible that this new information from Amazon is legit and that Finn is Lando’s son in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
