Rey’s parentage has always been an intriguing aspect in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and questions like whether she is Luke Skywalker or Han Solo’s child has been ongoing. However, fans may finally get to know whose daughter she is when the movie gets release on Dec. 18. But there are reportedly three scenes in the film that somehow prove she is Han Solo and Princess Leia’s daughter.

According to Jason Ward from Making Star Wars, the first scene would be when Rey, Finn, Chewbacca and Han Solo lands on a green planet believed to be Yavin IV. Concept photos for this scene show the Millennium Falcon landing on a dock on the water near a vista where they touched down. Rey’s reaction to seeing the breath-taking view of the greenery supposedly gives a hint to her parentage. “Rey is emotionally overcome by all the greenery she sees when they first reached the planet and her amazement continues,” Ward said.

The second scene in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” would reportedly be when Han Solo passes on his gun to Rey. “While Chewie is still on the ship shutting her down with Finn, Han talks to Rey in private and he passes on one of, if not his most, personal gun to her for protection in Maz’s stronghold,” Ward revealed. This is supposedly how Rey gets her DL-44, the same blaster that was seen in her concept photo presented during the Star Wars Celebration Anaheim.

The third would reportedly be when Rey finds an ally in Chewbacca during a bar fight scene in Maz’s stronghold. According to Jason Ward, Chewbacca helps Rey deal with the rapscallions as Finn proves to be of little help in the matter. Rey supposedly dealt with the bar fight with Chewbacca by her side. In a way, Ward said she earned a confidante in Han Solo’s best friend and co-pilot.

According to Jason Ward these scenes in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” give a hint to Rey being Han Solo’s daughter. Rey not only inherits Han’s DL-44 blaster, she also inherits the Falcon and Solo’s best friend Chewbacca.

Star Wars Underworld also previously mentioned a hideout scene in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” where Han Solo, Princess Leia and Rey are seen together. This is said to be the hideout for criminals, pirates and empire hunters. This scene supposedly also fuels speculations Rey could be Han and Leia’s daughter.
